Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Jammify mobile application and website (collectively, the "Platform"), operated by Jammify ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.
1. What Jammify does
Jammify is an online marketplace that connects musicians and bands ("Customers") with owners of music rehearsal studios ("Studio Owners") who list their spaces ("Jampads") for hourly booking. Jammify facilitates discovery, booking, and online payment. Jammify is not the provider of the rehearsal space itself; the Studio Owner is solely responsible for the space, equipment, and services listed.
2. Eligibility & accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for all activity under your account.
- Authentication is provided via your mobile number (OTP) through our authentication provider.
3. Bookings
- A booking is confirmed only after successful payment. Until payment is completed, a slot is held temporarily and may be released.
- The price shown at checkout includes the studio's hourly charge and any add-ons you select (e.g. recording, instruments). There are no extra charges for customers.
- Studio Owners set their own operating hours, rates, equipment, and cancellation policies, which are shown on each listing.
4. Payments
Payments are processed securely through our third-party payment gateway, Razorpay. Jammify does not store your card, UPI, or bank details. By paying, you authorise the applicable charge for your booking.
5. Cancellations & refunds
Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy and the individual studio's stated cancellation window.
6. Studio Owner obligations
- Owners must have the legal right to list and rent out their space.
- Listings must be accurate and not misleading.
- Owners are responsible for the safety, legality, and condition of their premises and equipment.
- Owners pay a monthly platform fee to keep their listing active, as described in Pricing.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Platform, including attempting to circumvent payments, posting unlawful content, or interfering with the service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
8. Limitation of liability
The Platform is provided on an "as is" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jammify is not liable for the acts or omissions of Studio Owners or Customers, for the condition of any premises, or for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the Platform.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction in the courts of Kolkata, West Bengal.
