Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Jammify ("we") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Jammify app and website (the "Platform").
1. Information we collect
- Account information: your name, mobile number, and email address.
- Profile & listing data: for Studio Owners, business/studio details, address, photos, pricing, and payout details you provide.
- Booking & transaction data: bookings you make, amounts, and payment status. We do not store card, UPI, or bank credentials — these are handled by our payment gateway.
- Technical data: device and usage information, and diagnostic logs used to operate and secure the service.
2. How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and authenticate you.
- To process bookings, payments, refunds, and payouts.
- To send booking confirmations, reminders, and service notifications.
- To operate, secure, debug, and improve the Platform.
- To comply with legal and regulatory obligations.
3. Third-party services
We share the minimum necessary information with trusted providers who help us run the service, including:
- Razorpay — payment processing. Your payment is subject to Razorpay's own privacy policy.
- Firebase (Google) — authentication and notifications.
- Cloud hosting & storage — to host the application and store media you upload.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Data sharing between users
To fulfil a booking, limited information is shared between the Customer and the relevant Studio Owner (for example, the booking time and a contact name) so the session can take place.
5. Data retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations. Older booking records may be minimised or anonymised.
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures including encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, and secure credential storage. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.
7. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. Some data may be retained where required by law.
8. Children
The Platform is not intended for individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
9. Changes
We may update this policy and will post the revised version here with a new "last updated" date.
